Preparation of ingredients
Honey butter dip

Step 1- Add 1 stick unsalted butter (Softened and at room temp), 2 or 3 teaspoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons honey into a small bowl. Mix on high speed with a hand mixer for 1 minute and set aside.

Dry ingredients
Step 2- Add 2 cups bread flour, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon instant yeast, and 1/4 teaspoon salt into stand mixer bowl. Mix all ingredients with a sturdy spoon until combined.

Making the dough
Step 3- In stand mixer bowl fitted with dough hook attachment, add 3/4 cup warm water (120 degrees F.), 1 tablespoon melted salted butter, and 1 tablespoon vegetable, canola, or olive oil. Mix on a medium low speed or according to your stand mixers instructions on mixing doughs for 4 to 5 minutes. Once done, the dough will be slightly sticky, this is normal.

Step 4- Lightly flour the surface of your table. Add dough on top of your table. Knead the dough into the flour from the surface of the table and continue to knead for 1 to 2 minutes. Form into a ball. Let the dough rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 5- Press the dough down with your hands and form into a ball again. Cut the ball of dough in half. From there cut each half piece of dough into 4 pieces each. Once done you should have 8 pieces of dough. Each piece of dough should be 2.3 ounces in weight total.

Step 6- Lightly spray 11 by 17-inch baking pan with Baker’s joy non-stick baking spray.

Step 7- Form all 8 pieces of dough into a ball. Place pieces of dough onto an 11 by 17-inch baking pan. Space the pieces of dough out so that they won’t touch. Let the dough rise in a warm spot for 25 minutes.

Baking the dinner rolls
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Step 8- Place rolls into a preheated 425-degree oven, on the middle rack. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove rolls from oven.

Step 9- Let rolls cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. When you first remove the rolls from the oven, they will be firm to the touch. As the rolls cool, they will soften.
