Makes 14 Jell-O cups

What you’ll need
12 oz translucent plastic cups
Sugar or 0 calorie sweetener
Salt
Gelatine
2 to 7 Kool Aid drink mix packs, or your favorite drink mix or already prepared fruit juice of your choosing
Fruit cocktail, or any type of fruit
Bacardi white rum or any other type of rum (Optional)

Preparation of ingredients
Step 1- Add 1 sixteen ounce can of fruit cocktail or your favorite can of fruit into a mesh strainer with a small bowl underneath it. Reserve the fruit juice is drained into the small bowl and set aside.
Making Jell-O mixture
Preheat fire to medium heat.
Notes- If you are using premade fruit juice, don’t add any sugar, salt or Kool aid packs. If you are using only water, add sugar or 0 calorie sweetener, salt, Kool aid packs or your favorite drink mix.
Step 2- Add 2 1/2 quarts water or fruit juice, 2 2/3 cups sugar or 0 calorie sweetener (if using only water), 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 2 packs Kool Aid or your favorite drink mix (If you want to make the Jell-O cups all the same color and flavor) into a large pot. Let get hot until it reaches a temperature of 150 degrees F. Once the water is hot add 4 tablespoons Gelatine and stir with a whisk until Gelatin has dissolved into the liquid. Turn fire off and set aside.
Adding toppings into the cups
Note- You can add any kind of canned fruit, fresh fruit or soft candy into the cups. Adding rum is optional. If you are making this for kids omit the rum from the recipe. If you’ve used already premade fruit juice for the Jell-O mixture, you can omit the powdered drink mix from the recipe.
Step 3- Add 1 to 2 ounces in weight of fruit cocktail or any other type of canned fruit, fresh fruit or soft candy into each cup. Add 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon Kool aid or your favorite powdered drink mix into each cup. If you are adding the juice left over from the canned fruit, pour 1 to 2 tablespoons into each cup. If you are adding rum, add 1 or 2 tablespoons into each cup.
Step 4- Pour 1 cup of the (Jell-O mixture) into each cup and place onto an 11 by 17-inch baking pan. Stir each cup of liquid until combined. Let cool for 30 minutes to an hour.
Letting the Jell-O cups set
Notes- Times vary for the Jell-O cups to set. It can take more or less than 6 to 14 hours.
Step 5- Place into fridge for 6 to 14 hours or overnight. If you tap the top of the Jell-O cups and it springs back, the Jell-O cups are set and ready to be served.
