Makes 12 to 15 cookies

What you’ll need
All-purpose flour
Sugar
Salt
Unsalted butter (Room temp)
1 Large egg (Room temp)
Whole milk (Room temp)
Vanilla extract
Almond extract

Tools you’ll need
11×17 inch baking pan
Ice cream scoop (Optional)

Preparation of ingredients
Step 1- Add 1 1/2 Cups All-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt into medium sized bowl. Stir all ingredients together and set aside.

Step 2- Add 1 stick of unsalted butter (Room temp) and 1 cup sugar into stand mixer bowl. Mix on high speed for 4 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl.

Step 3- Start mixer on a medium low speed and add 1 large egg (Room temp). Mix for 1 minute or until well combined.

Step 4- Add 1/4 cup whole milk (Room temp), 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Mix on a medium low speed until well combined.

Step 5- Add All-purpose flour mixture and mix on a low speed until combined. Place cookie dough into fridge for 1 hour or overnight.

Step 6- Lightly spread butter along the bottom of baking pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 7- Scoop a medium sized amount of cookie dough (1/8 cup) of cookie dough and place it into the palm of your hand. Roll cookie dough into a medium sized ball. Place it into your baking pan.

Step 8- Press down slightly on to each ball of cookie dough. Place into a preheated 350-degree oven and bake for 25 minutes.

Step 9- Remove cookies out of oven and let cool completely before serving.
