Homemade Iced tea (Sweet or Sugar Free)

Makes 3.8 quarts of Iced tea

What you’ll need
Lipton iced tea bags (Family sized)
Sugar or Splenda Sweetener (Sugar Free)
1 to 2 large lemons
2 pounds ice

Tools you’ll need
3.8 quart plastic pitcher
Large spoon
Mesh strainer

Preheat fire to medium high heat
Step 1- Add 2 quarts water into a medium sized pot and let come to a simmer. Add 6 family sized tea bags and let sit in water for 8 to 10 minutes.


Step 2- Add 2 pounds ice, 3 1/4 cups Sugar or 3 1/4 cups Splenda (Sugar free), and squeeze 1 to 2 large lemons into a large 3.8-quart plastic pitcher. Make sure you cut the lemon(s) in half and add a mesh strainer on top of the pitcher while squeezing the lemons.


Step 3- Remove tea bags from pot and add into a bowl. Press down on each tea bag to release any liquid. Add hot tea into 3.8 quart pitcher and stir.


Serve cold and enjoy.
