What you’ll need
1 Pint of Heavy Whipping Cream (VERY COLD)
1/2 Cup of Confectioners’ Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups hot water
1 package of Gelatin
Tools you’ll need
Stand Mixer – Make sure your mixing bowl and your whisk attachment are cold
Hand mixer- Make sure your mixing bowl and your two beaters are cold
Making the Gelatin
Step 1- In a small bowl add 1 1/2 Cups of Hot water.
Step 2- Add 1 package of Gelatine. Mix until the gelatine has dissolved into the water.
Step 3- Place Gelatin mixture in freezer for 45 minutes to an hour
Step 4- After 45 minutes remove gelatin out of the freezer. Gelatin should have a dense but jiggly texture
Step 5- Take 3 to 4 tablespoons of Gelatin and place into microwave and heat for 15 seconds
Making the Whipped Cream
Note- Make sure your heavy whipping cream, mixing bowls and whisk or beater blades are very cold.
Step 6- In the mixing bowl add the heavy whipping cream and mix on high speed for 1 minute.
Step 7- Add the 1/2 cup of Confectioners’ Sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and mix on high speed until cream reaches stiff peaks
Step 8- Add your melted Gelatin mixture into the whipped cream as quickly as possible and let whip on high speed for 30 seconds. Adding the Gelatin will make the whipped cream thicker.
Serve cold with fruit or you can decorate your cake with it. Enjoy!
