What you’ll need
1 Pound Cut Okra
Canola or Olive Oil
Salt (Optional)
Tools you’ll need
11×17 inch baking pan
Step 1 -Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2- Add 2 teaspoons Canola or Olive oil on to your baking pan. Spread oil around the bottom of your baking pan.
Step 3- Place okra on to baking pan and spread around as evenly as possible.
Optional Step– If you want to add salt add 1/2 teaspoon or 1/4 teaspoon. Lightly sprinkle that on top of the okra.
Step 4- Place okra into a preheated 400 degree oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Step 5- Remover okra out of oven. Let cool for 5 minutes. To remove okra from bottom of pan take a heat proof spatula and gently glide it on the bottom of the pan. This will remove the okra from the bottom of the pan. Serve hot.
Troubleshoot- If your okra still turns out a little slimy place okra back into oven and bake it for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
